Prince George's County Trash TMDL Compliance Plan - Public Meetings and Comment Period

The Prince George's COunty Department of the Environement will hold public meetings to provide an overview and receive comments on the County's draft plan for dealing with trash in the Anacostia.

These meetings are required by the County's agreement with the EPA. The County and the EPA have agreed to come up with a plan to reduce floating litter in the Anacostia - the District has already developed its plan and is in the process of implementing it. 

Three public meeting times are:

Wednesday, December 3, 6:30 to 8:00 Thomas Stone Elementary School, 5400 34th St. Mt. Rainier, MD

Wednesday, December 10, 6:30 to 8:00, Capitol Heights Elementary School, 601 Suffolk Ave, Capitol Heights MD

Wednesday, December 17, 6:30 to 8:00, 1801 McCormick Dr, Suite 140, Largo, MD
